Why Me?

Not sure if I'm sending out magnetic vibes attracting certain subway riders or vice versa, but I seem to sit across from folks who are either picking their nose (and sticking their fingers in their mouth), "adjusting" their crotch area or staring intensely at you for most of the ride.

Attn: Eyeglass-wearing Citigroup employee who was reading Rolling Stone on the Brooklyn-bound R train tonight

Note: You're not fooling anyone by trying to hide your activities behind your magazine. Control yourself, please!

Is there a proper name for a hard-boiled egg holder?


I finally used the German hard-boiled egg holders (is there a proper name for these things?), which I purchased during my trip to Berlin last June! These plastic chickens have perched untouched on my kitchen counter the past month, sending out "use me already, dammit!" vibes. I believe that I will be eating a lot more eggs than I normally do this month, my excuse to use these cute holder things.
